OBJECTIVES

Graduates in Human Resources Management need to be prepared for the professional exercise of Human Resources Management. They also need to be capable of facing challenges both from a national and international perspective, of contributing to the effort of decentralization and reducing the bureaucracy of power structures, of increasing levels of quality of the products and services provided, whilst at the same time guided by the scrupulous respect of strict standards of ethics and civic sense in achieving the organizational objectives.

Skills in the area of human resources at the level of planning, management, evaluation and control associated with economic and business sciences.
Permanent learning attitude, awareness of the value of culture, research and education, as well as the ability to develop self-directed learning and benefit from continuous training.
Effective self-management in terms of time, planning and behaviour, individual dynamics and initiative and entrepreneurship.
Identification of changes in political, economic and social contexts and respective impact on Human Resources management.
Develop programmes to improve skills and performance.
